Requirements
Laptop or phone with Wi-Fi
The charger's serial number and Chargebox-ID (on the label)
Internet for the charger: Wi-Fi, Ethernet or SIM
Connect your charger
Option 1: EVC04 wallbox
Open the web interface:
Connect your laptop or phone to the charger's Wi-Fi hotspot.
Network name: the serial number. Password: the Chargebox-ID.
In a browser, go to 192.168.1.1.
Log in with username admin and password admin.
Set up OCPP:
Go to OCPP Settings.
Set OCPP Connection to Enabled, version OCPP 1.6.
Central System Address: ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1
Charge Point ID: the charger's serial number.
Scroll down to FreeModeRFID (or AuthorizationKey) and enter FFFFFFFF.
Click Save.
Connect the charger to the internet:
Using Ethernet or a SIM? Select that interface instead.
Option 2: ECV10 DC charger
Connect a laptop to the charger with an Ethernet cable.
In a browser, go to 192.168.0.10.
Log in with username admin and password admin.
Configure OCPP as in Option 1, "Set up OCPP".
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Vestel, this is the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the serial number (case sensitive).
Check the OCPP URL: no spaces, no trailing slash.
Check the charger's network status in the WebUI under Network Interfaces.
After saving the settings, restart the charger.
