Requirements
Laptop (Windows 11, macOS or Linux) and a micro-USB cable
The web interface login (username: admin, password: the serial number)
Internet connection for the charger
Connect your charger
Connect the laptop to the charger via micro-USB.
In your browser, open https://192.168.32.1.
Log in with username admin and the serial number as password.
Under network (WAN/Internet), select auto (DHCP) or set a static IP.
Go to Communication > OCPP.
Set the operator to custom.
Enter the URL
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1.Note the Chargebox ID. It is generated from the serial number.
Save the settings.
Restart the charger via the admin menu.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Technagon, this is the Chargebox ID from the web interface (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID must exactly match the Chargebox ID.
Check the URL ends in
/v1with no typos.Restart the charger after saving.
