Requirements
A Windows laptop and a USB to micro-USB data cable
Internet connection for the charger (SIM or other)
The charger's serial number
Connect your charger
Using a SIM? Insert it into the SIM slot of the controller.
Connect the laptop to the free micro-USB port on the front of the controller.
Browse to http://192.168.123.123:81.
Log in as operator with password yellow_zone. We recommend changing this password.
Press Network and enter your SIM's APN (if applicable), then press Save.
Press Backend and set the connection type (for example GSM).
Set OCPP ChargeBoxIdentity to the charger's serial number.
Set Websock-SET JSON OCPP URL to ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1. Leave the rest as is.
Press Save and reboot the charger.
The charger now connects to Plugchoice. This can take a minute.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Flexicharge, this is the ChargeBoxIdentity you entered, the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the ChargeBoxIdentity.
Check the URL for typos or spaces.
Using a SIM? Check the APN and the signal strength.
Reboot the charger after saving new settings.
