Requirements
A laptop and a micro USB cable
Physical access to the charger
Wired internet (ethernet) or a SIM card for the charger
Connect your charger
Connect the charger to your laptop with the micro USB cable.
In a browser, go to
http://192.168.123.123.Log in. Username:
operator, password:yellow_zone.Go to Backend > Connection.
Select Ethernet for wired internet, or GSM for a SIM.
Using a SIM:
Go to Network > GSM.
Enter your SIM's APN and press Save.
Then, for both:
Go to Backend > OCPP.
Leave the ChargeBoxIdentity as is.
Set OCPP-mode to
OCPP-J 1.6.In JSON OCPP URL, enter:
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1Press Save and Restart.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Snigg, this is the ChargeBoxIdentity shown under Backend > OCPP (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the ChargeBoxIdentity.
Check OCPP-mode is set to
OCPP-J 1.6.Can't reach the web interface? Re-seat the USB cable and reload the page.
Using a SIM? Check the APN settings and the signal.
