Requirements
Laptop and a micro USB cable
The commissioning data sheet supplied with the charger (login details)
Internet for the charger: Ethernet or a SIM card
Connect your charger
Open the web interface:
Connect your laptop to the charger's Config micro USB port.
In a browser, open http://192.168.123.123.
Log in as operator with the password from the data sheet.
On AMEDIO, each socket has its own password.
Using a SIM card:
Go to Network > GSM.
Enter your SIM provider's APN.
Click Save.
Set the OCPP backend:
Go to Backend.
Set Connection type to Ethernet or GSM.
Leave OCPP ChargeBoxIdentity as it is. Note it down.
Set OCPP Mode to OCPP-J 1.6.
Set WebSockets JSON OCPP URL of the Backend to: ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1
Click Save and restart the charger.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Mennekes, this is the OCPP ChargeBoxIdentity from the web interface, usually the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the OCPP ChargeBoxIdentity.
Check the URL: ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1, no trailing slash.
Settings only apply after a restart.
Can't log in? Each socket has its own password, check the data sheet.
Using GSM? Check the APN and signal strength under Network.
