How to connect: LCTC (H-Series, S-Series)

Connect your LCTC H-Series or S-Series charger to Plugchoice via the Hcharger app or web interface.

Requirements

  • H-Series: a phone with the Hcharger app and Bluetooth

  • S-Series: a phone or laptop with wifi

  • The charger's serial number (on the commissioning label or device info)

Connect your charger

Option 1: H-Series

  1. Download the Hcharger app (Google Play or App Store).

  2. Connect to the charger via Bluetooth.

  3. Go to the OCPP settings.

  4. In OCPP server address, enter: ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1

  5. Set EV charger identification code to the serial number.

  6. Go to the networking settings.

  7. Set up wifi, 4G/5G (enter your SIM's APN), or ethernet.

  8. Click Confirm and wait for the charger to reboot.

Option 2: S-Series

  1. On your phone or laptop, open the wifi settings.

  2. Select the network named after the charger's serial number.

  3. The wifi password is the same as the network name.

  4. The web interface opens automatically. If not, browse to 192.168.1.1.

  5. Enter the password 123456.

  6. Click OCPP setup.

  7. In OCPP URL, enter: ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1

  8. Set CPID to the serial number.

  9. Select network setup and set up wifi, 4G (enter your SIM's APN), or ethernet.

  10. Reboot the charger.

Registering your charger in Plugchoice

  1. Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For LCTC, this is the charger's serial number (case sensitive).

Done! The charger should come online.

Troubleshooting

Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?

  • The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the serial number.

  • Check the identification code (H-Series) or CPID (S-Series) for typos.

  • Using a SIM? Check the APN settings and the signal.

  • Reboot the charger after changing settings.
