The chargepoint ID is the name a charger uses when it connects to a backoffice. It is how the charger tells our platform which charger it is.
You need the chargepoint ID to find a charger in Plugchoice.
A chargepoint ID is also sometimes called:
Chargepoint Identity
OCPP ID
CSMS ID
Charger Number
How to find the chargepoint ID?
It is usually the serial number of your charger.
Volt Time chargers use the form "VT_[serial number]". So if the serial number is 0001234, the chargepoint ID is "VT_0001234".
For a charger that is already in Plugchoice: in the app, go to Chargers > Settings and look at Chargepoint ID. In the web portal, it is in the Chargepoint ID column under Chargers.
