Requirements
Internet connection for the charger (Wi-Fi, LAN or SIM, depending on the model)
A phone or laptop
The Peblar quick start guide that came with the charger — it lists the charger's hostname, WLAN password and config page URL
The charger's serial number (on the quick start guide and the commissioning label)
Good to know: Peblar chargers don't use an OCPP URL — you select a backoffice from a list instead. Plugchoice is listed as Plugchoice.
Connect your charger
Connect your phone or laptop to the charger's Wi-Fi: scan the QR code on the quick start guide, or join the network manually — the network name is the Hostname, the password is the WLAN password.
Open the Config page URL (also on the quick start guide) in your browser. Enter the config page password if asked and click Get Started.
Connect the charger to the internet: select your Wi-Fi network and enter its password, or use a LAN cable or SIM.
Set the current limit and connected phases to match the electrical installation and click Next.
In the authorization step, open the Managed tab and set Backoffice to Plugchoice.
Click Save, then Next, then Finish & reboot.
After the reboot the charger connects to Plugchoice. This can take a few minutes.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Peblar, this is the serial number (case sensitive), found on the quick start guide and the commissioning label.
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the serial number.
Don't see Plugchoice in the backoffice list? Update the charger to the latest firmware, then recommission it.
Check the charger has an internet connection: reconnect to the config page and verify the network status, or check the LED on the charger.
Peblar applies OCPP settings after a reboot. Changed the backoffice recently? Reboot the charger and wait a few minutes.
