Requirements
Internet connection (Wi-Fi or LAN)
A laptop or phone with Wi-Fi
The hotspot and Installer passwords (in the charger's documentation)
Good to know: this applies to OCPP-capable models like the EO Genius 2 and EO Mini Pro 3.
Connect your charger
Power on the charger.
Within 10 minutes, connect to the charger's Wi-Fi hotspot (
eo-[serial number]).Open
http://10.10.10.1in your browser.Log in with username Installer and the password from the documentation.
Go to Network and connect the charger to your Wi-Fi or LAN.
Go to the CSMS tab.
Set CSMS Server Address to
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1.Note the Charger Identity. This is your chargepoint ID.
Press Save.
Go to Admin and restart the charger.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For EO, this is the Charger Identity in the CSMS tab (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the Charger Identity.
Check the URL has no typos, spaces, or trailing slash.
Check the charger is connected to your Wi-Fi or LAN in Network.
Restart the charger via the Admin menu after saving.
