Requirements
Internet connection (Wi-Fi, LAN or 4G)
The BG EV Charging app (Android) and Bluetooth on your phone
The charger's Bluetooth password (in the instruction manual)
Connect your charger
Power on the charger. The status light glows yellow.
Open the BG EV Charging app.
Select your charger's serial number from the Bluetooth devices list.
Log in with the password from the manual (some units:
12345678).If prompted, change the password and write it down.
Set up the internet connection. Entries are case sensitive.
Scroll to Server URL and select Manual Entry.
Enter
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1.Set Charge mode to
APP.Press Set. The charger reboots.
The status light turns solid blue once the charger is connected. This can take 5 to 10 minutes.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For SyncEV, this is the serial number on the back label (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the serial number.
Check the URL has no typos, spaces, or trailing slash.
Wi-Fi details are case sensitive. Re-check them in the app.
Still a yellow light? The charger has no connection yet. Reboot it.
