Requirements
The VCHRGD Installer app
The installer password (in the install kit)
Wifi at the charger location
Lost the password? Call VCHRGD support and quote the Magic No. for a temporary one.
Connect your charger
Open the VCHRGD Installer app.
Allow Bluetooth and location permissions when asked.
Select your charger from the device list.
Enter the installer password and tap OK.
Select Full Configuration.
Select your wifi network and connect.
Set Charge Mode to
APP.Set Server URL to Manual Entry.
Enter the OCPP URL:
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1Tap Set.
The app disconnects and the charger reboots. It then connects to Plugchoice.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For VCHRGD, this is the charger ID shown in the Installer app (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the charger ID.
Bluetooth connection timed out? Wait and select the charger again once visible.
Check Charge Mode is set to
APP.Check the wifi credentials and signal at the charger.
