The charger's serial number
An internet connection for the charger
Good to know: the backend connection on Ohme chargers is set up by Ohme. There is no local setting.
Connect your charger
Contact Ohme support.
Ask them to set the charger's OCPP backend to:
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1Provide your serial number. Using a SIM? Also provide the APN from your SIM provider.
Once Ohme confirms, the charger connects to Plugchoice.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Ohme, this is the charger's serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the serial number.
Confirm with Ohme that the backend is set to Plugchoice's URL.
Check the charger's internet connection.
