Go to the charging stations overview, then EVSE configuration.
Press the + icon next to your EVSE, then the configuration icon.
Set the enable mode to by OCPP.
Choose the socket lock mode and press Save changes.
Open the OCPP configuration overview.
As backend URL, enter ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1/ followed by your chargepoint ID (use the serial number).
Press Save changes, then Restart OCPP.
The charger now connects to Plugchoice. This can take a minute.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Evonity, this is the ID at the end of the backend URL (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the ID at the end of the URL.
Check the URL for typos, spaces or a missing /.
Press Restart OCPP again after changing settings.
For a complete guide, see our troubleshooting article if your charger can't connect to Plugchoice.
