Requirements
AC22E: the Sungrow iEnergyCharge app
Older models: a phone or laptop with Wi-Fi and a browser
The charger's serial number (on the side of the charger)
Connect your charger
Option 1: AC22E (iEnergyCharge app)
Open the iEnergyCharge app and tap Add device.
Scan the QR code on the charger and tap Establish Connection.
Connect your phone to the charger's WLAN.
Log in: username admin, password pw8888.
Select OCPP as the charging mode.
Enter the server address: ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1
Connect the charger to your Wi-Fi network.
Tap Add device, then Complete.
Option 2: Older models (web interface)
Reboot the charger and wait for the flashing green light.
Connect to the charger's hotspot (named after the serial number, password admin123).
Browse to 192.168.4.1 and log in (PIN: Admin123).
Open Charge Point Setup.
In Network Connection, choose Wifi, Eth, or SIM.
For Wi-Fi: click AddSSID, enter your network name and password, press ok.
In Websocket, set Available websocket to Others.
In the pop-up, enter: ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1
Keep the charger ID as the serial number.
Press set and restart the charger.
The charger now connects to Plugchoice. This can take a few minutes.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Sungrow, this is the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the serial number.
Check the URL for typos, spaces, or a trailing slash.
Check the internet icon in the charger interface shows a connection.
Restart the charger after changing settings.
