WARP2 or WARP3 Charger (the models that support OCPP)
Charge point created on the backend before connecting, keyed to the identity the charger provides
Access to the WARP Charger web interface (Interfaces > OCPP)
Connect your charger
Prepare in Plugchoice:
Create the charge point in Plugchoice using the charge point identity provided by the WARP Charger. Keep any credential the backend issues for the next step.
Configure the WARP Charger:
In the WARP Charger web interface open Interfaces > OCPP and enter the endpoint URL
wss://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1, the charge point identity, and the authorization key/password if one was issued. A password of exactly 40 hexadecimal characters (0-9, A-F, a-f) is interpreted as a hex key encoding a 20-byte key. If no authorization is required, authorization can be disabled in the WARP Charger.
The WARP2/WARP3 Charger connects to Plugchoice over OCPPJ 1.6 with the Core Profile and Smart Charging Profile, so sessions and smart-charging control run through the backend.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. The charge point identity is provided by the WARP Charger; use it when creating the charge point in Plugchoice, then confirm it in the charger's OCPP settings.
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
For problems interacting with the OCPP server, the charger's Debug and Configurations sections provide diagnostic information.
