Requirements
A Windows laptop and a LAN cable
The charger connected to the local network
The charger's serial number
Good to know: Weidmüller AC SMART chargers (ECO, VALUE, ADVANCED) are configured through a built-in web server at a fixed IP address.
Connect your charger
Connect the charger to the network via LAN.
Press Win+R on your laptop and run ncpa.cpl.
Right-click the Ethernet adapter and select Properties.
Open Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
Set an IP between 192.168.0.2 and 192.168.0.254 (not 192.168.0.8), subnet 255.255.255.0.
Browse to http://192.168.0.8.
Log in. Role: Admin, password: zyVt45Nv0y.
Go to Network > Cloud and enable OCPP 1.6J.
Select your network interface and enter:
Portal address: ws://proxy.plugchoice.com
Portal port: 80
Portal path: v1
Press Save and reboot the charger.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Weidmüller, this is the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the serial number.
Web server unreachable? Your laptop's IP may conflict with 192.168.0.8.
Check the portal address, port and path are split exactly as above.
Reboot the charger after saving.
