Requirements
A laptop and a LAN cable
The WebUI service password, from Delta service or the factory test report
The charger's serial number (also on the display's debug screen)
Good to know: Delta recommends remote commissioning by their service team. You can reach them at [email protected].
Connect your charger
Open the WebUI
On the laptop, open the LAN adapter's IPv4 settings (Windows: Run > ncpa.cpl).
Set IP address to
10.2.0.254, subnet mask to255.255.0.0.Connect the LAN cable to the charger's internal switch, port LAN3.
In your browser, open the address based on the last 4 serial digits. Serial ending 0241 becomes
10.2.2.41:8080, ending 1241 becomes10.2.12.41:8080.Press Config and log in. Username is
service, password from Delta.
Set the OCPP backend
Open OCPP.
Set Enable to
Trueand Version toOCPP1.6J. Save.Open ConnectionParameters.
Set CsAddress to
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1.Set UseStrongTLS to
False. Save.Open DeviceParameters, set chargeBoxIdentity to the serial number. Save.
Using a SIM? Go to Interfaces > MobileBroadband, enable cellular and enter your APN.
Press Restart Software.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Delta, this is the chargeBoxIdentity you set, normally the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the chargeBoxIdentity.
Check CsAddress for typos, spaces or a trailing slash.
Check UseStrongTLS is
False.Restart the charger after saving.
