Connect your charger
Connect the laptop to the charger with the network cable.
On the laptop, open the properties of your ethernet adapter.
Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and press Properties.
Set a static IP in the 192.168.1.x range (for example 192.168.1.10), mask 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.1.1.
Browse to http://192.168.1.5:8080.
Set the server URL to ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1.
Press Set and reboot.
After the reboot, the charger connects to Plugchoice (if its own network settings are correct).
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Growatt, this is the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the serial number.
Check the server URL for typos or spaces.
Check the charger's own internet connection (wifi, SIM or ethernet).
Set your laptop's IP back to automatic afterwards.
