How to connect: Silla Industries

Connect a Silla Prism Solar charger to Plugchoice via its web interface.

Requirements

  • Laptop, phone or tablet with wifi

  • The installer credentials on the charger's label

  • Internet connection for the charger (ethernet or wifi)

This guide applies to the Prism Solar.


Connect your charger

Set up internet:

  1. Connect your device to the charger's wifi network Prism-xxxxx.

  2. Log in with the credentials on the charger's label.

  3. In your browser, open http://192.168.8.1/benvenuto.

  4. Log in with the installer credentials and follow the on-screen steps.

  5. Ethernet with DHCP works directly. For wifi: go to Network > Wi-Fi.

  6. Press Scan, select your network with Add network.

  7. Enter the password, press Send, then Save, then Save & Apply.

  8. Wait 90 seconds and reconnect to the charger's wifi.

Set up OCPP:

  1. On the guided configuration page, scroll to Communication via OCPP.

  2. Select Enable in the drop-down menu.

  3. Set the URL to ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1.

  4. Set the Device serial code to the charger's serial number.

  5. Set authentication to OCPP without authentication.

  6. Press Proceed.


Registering your charger in Plugchoice

  1. Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Silla, this is the serial number (case sensitive).

Done! The charger should come online.


Troubleshooting

Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?

  • The chargepoint ID must exactly match the device serial code.

  • A "failed to confirm apply" banner means the wifi setup failed. Retry.

  • Check the URL ends in /v1 with no typos.
