How to connect: Scame BE-T

Connect a Scame BE-T charger to Plugchoice via its server interface.

Requirements

  • Laptop, phone or tablet on the charger's network (ethernet or wifi)

  • The server login (username: admin, password: gsroot)

  • The charger's serial number

Satellite stations connect to the master station via the RS485 serial line.

Connect your charger

  1. In your browser, open 192.168.30.126.

  2. Log in with username admin, password gsroot.

  3. Go to the Settings menu.

  4. In Network Setup, configure the network connection.

  5. Select OCPP 1.6 JSON in the OCPP Type Selector.

  6. Open the OCPP 1.6 Setup menu.

  7. Enable OCPP. Disable WebSocket SSL.

  8. Set Central Station IP Address to ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1.

  9. Set Central Station TCP Port to 80.

  10. Set Central Station Path to /1.6/v1.

  11. Set Charge Box Identity to the charger's serial number.

  12. Leave the SIM card fields empty.

  13. Click Save and reboot the station.

Registering your charger in Plugchoice

  1. Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Scame, this is the serial number (case sensitive).

Done! The charger should come online.

Troubleshooting

Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?

  • The chargepoint ID must exactly match the Charge Box Identity.

  • Check WebSocket SSL is disabled and the port is 80.

  • Satellites not visible? Check the RS485 connection to the master.

  • Reboot the station after saving.
