Requirements
The go-e app with your charger added
Internet connection on the charger (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or SIM, depending on model)
The charger's serial number (on the type plate and the reset card)
Connect your charger
In the go-e app:
Open the go-e app and select your charger.
Go to Settings > Connection > OCPP.
Enable OCPP.
Enter
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1as the OCPP Server URL.Set the protocol to WS.
Enable Append SN to URL.
Tap Save changes.
Restart the charger.
Older app versions: open the Internet tab and go to OCPP. Enable OCPP 1.6 and set the server URL to ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1/[serial number].
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For go-e, this is the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the serial number.
Check Append SN to URL is enabled.
Check the charger is online in the go-e app.
Update the charger to the latest firmware.
Restart the charger after changing OCPP settings.
