How to connect: e-RS

Connect your e-RS charger to Plugchoice. The connection is set up by e-RS on request.

Requirements

Good to know: e-RS chargers cannot be configured by the owner or installer. The connection is set up by e-RS.


Connect your charger

  1. Contact e-RS support via the contact form.

  2. Ask them to set the charger to Plugchoice.

  3. Provide the OCPP URL: ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1.

  4. Provide the charger's serial number.

  5. Wait for e-RS to confirm the connection.


Registering your charger in Plugchoice

  1. Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For e-RS, this is usually the serial number, as confirmed by e-RS (case sensitive).

Done! The charger should come online.


Troubleshooting

Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?

  • The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the ID confirmed by e-RS.

  • Confirm with e-RS that the connection has been completed.

  • Check the charger has a working internet connection.
