A laptop and an RJ45 cable to the communication kit (cat.no 0 590 56)
The latest Legrand update package with OCPP (from the Legrand e-catalogue)
The charger's serial number
Connect your charger
In a browser, go to
192.168.1.200(the communication kit).Log in with the default credentials:
admin/admin.Open the Charging Mode page.
Select OCPP as the charging mode.
In URL, enter:
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1In UID, enter
Legrand_followed by the serial number.Click Save and activate the OCPP server connection.
Check Server connection on the OCPP status page.
Note: on a double charging station, OCPP mode applies to both sides. Using a SIM in a modem? Enter the APN from your SIM provider, username and password empty.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Legrand, this is the UID you entered, like
Legrand_XXXXXX(case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the UID.
On the OCPP status page, Activation must be
1.Check the charging mode is set to OCPP.
Outdated firmware? Install the latest Legrand update package with OCPP.
