Requirements
Firmware version 68 or newer (contact Siemens support for updates)
A computer with an Ethernet cable
Internet connection for the charger (Wi-Fi, Ethernet or SIM)
Connect your charger
Connect your computer to the charger's network port.
In a browser, open
http://192.168.32.1.Log in with username
admin. The password is the charger's serial number.Open OCPP in the left menu.
Set Operator to custom.
Paste
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1in the URL field.Check that Protocol Version is OCPP-J 1.6.
Click Save.
Open the admin menu (top right) and click Restart Daemon.
The charger now connects to Plugchoice. This can take a few minutes.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Siemens, this is the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the serial number.
Firmware below version 68 can't connect. Contact Siemens support for an update.
Check that Protocol Version is OCPP-J 1.6.
Check the charger has an internet connection.
Changed any settings? Restart the charger.
