How to connect: Hysun Power

Connect your Hysun Power charger to Plugchoice via the X Smart app.

Requirements

  • The X Smart app (App Store / Google Play)

  • The charger's serial number

  • A stable network for the charger (wifi, 4G or ethernet)


Connect your charger

In the X Smart app:

  1. Register via Click to register and log in.

  2. Press Add device.

  3. Press the blue device under Nearby device.

  4. In Link network, choose wifi, 4G or ethernet and enter the details.

  5. Press Choose another protocol, then New configuration.

  6. Set the protocol version to ocpp1.6 and the protocol head to ws://.

  7. As protocol vendor, enter Plugchoice.

  8. As socket URL, enter ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1/{deviceId}.

  9. Press Confirm.

Good to know: {deviceId} is replaced automatically by the charger's serial number. Don't type the serial number yourself.


Registering your charger in Plugchoice

  1. Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Hysun Power, this is the serial number (case sensitive).

Done! The charger should come online.


Troubleshooting

Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?

  • The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the serial number.

  • Check the socket URL for typos, including the {deviceId} part.

  • Check the charger has a stable network connection.
