How to connect: QPOWER

Connect a QPOWER charger to Plugchoice via its web interface.

Requirements

  • Laptop with a static IP in the 192.168.1.x range

  • A UTP cable

  • The web page login (username: root, password: root@123456)


Connect your charger

  1. Switch off the charger and open the front cover.

  2. On the motherboard, set the N1N2 (5/6) dial switch to ON.

  1. Connect the UTP cable from the WLAN port to your laptop.

  1. Switch the charger back on.

  2. In your browser, open http://192.168.1.253/index.html.

  3. Log in with username root, password root@123456.

  1. Go to the Configuration menu.

  2. Set CsmsWebsocketUrl to ws://ocpp.plugchoice.com.

  1. Go to the Network menu and set up your network method.

  1. Set the N1N2 dial switch back to match your network method.

  2. Save and reboot the charger.


Registering your charger in Plugchoice

  1. Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For QPOWER, this is the serial number (case sensitive).

Done! The charger should come online.


Troubleshooting

Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?

  • The chargepoint ID must exactly match the serial number.

  • No web page? Check your laptop's static IP and the dial switch.

  • Check the dial switch matches your final network method.

  • Reboot the charger after saving.
