Requirements
Laptop with network card set to 192.168.2.10 and an RJ45 cable
The web interface login (role: user, password: qcng_dbt)
The charger's serial number
Connect your charger
Connect the RJ45 cable to the switch behind the front door.
Connect the other end to your laptop.
In your browser, open 192.168.2.127:2500.
Log in with role user and password qcng_dbt.
Open the menu Param Cust User.
Set STATION_NAME to the charger's serial number.
Set IDENTIFICATION_TYPE to badge.
Set OCPP_VERSION to 1.6J.
Set OCPP_URL to
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1.Set CHARGEBOXID_CUST to the charger's serial number.
Set INTERFACE to CELLULAR or WAN.
Press Save, then Reboot.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For DBT, this is the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID must exactly match CHARGEBOXID_CUST.
No web interface? Ping 192.168.2.127 to test the cable.
Check the URL ends in
/v1with no typos.Reboot the charger after saving.
