A phone or tablet with wifi
The Goneo smart cable's serial number
Wifi details or a SIM for the cable
Connect your charger
Connect the Goneo smart cable to a domestic power outlet.
Immediately hold the button for 3 seconds to activate access point mode.
Scan the first QR code on the display to join the cable's wifi.
Scan the second QR code to open the web app.
Open the menu (three stripes) and select Service.
Toggle OCPP on if it isn't already.
As server URL, enter ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1.
As identifier, enter the serial number. Leave the password empty.
Optional: as Tag ID, enter the UID of the charge card you want to use.
Select Network and set up wifi, or select SIM and enter your APN.
The cable now connects to Plugchoice. This can take a minute.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Goneo, this is the identifier you entered, the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the identifier.
Check the server URL for typos or spaces.
Check the cable has a working wifi or SIM connection.
