How to connect: E-Totem

Connect your E-Totem charger to Plugchoice through its WebAdmin interface.

Requirements

  • A computer with an Ethernet port and an Ethernet cable

  • A web browser (Chrome, Firefox or Edge)

  • The charger's serial number

Good to know: E-Totem chargers are configured through WebAdmin, a built-in web interface.


Connect your charger

  1. Connect the Ethernet cable to the charger's left Ethernet port. The port location varies per model; check the charger documentation.

  2. Set your computer's network adapter to IP 192.168.20.10, subnet 255.255.255.0.

  3. Log in. Default username: admin, password: system.

  4. Go to Settings > Supervision.

  5. Set Charge Box Identity to the charger's serial number.

  6. Set the supervisor ws JSON URL to ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1.

  7. Do not change any other fields.

  8. Save and restart the charger.

WebAdmin not loading? Try a different web browser.


Registering your charger in Plugchoice

  1. Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For E-Totem, this is the Charge Box Identity, usually the serial number (case sensitive).

Done! The charger should come online.


Troubleshooting

Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?

  • The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the Charge Box Identity.

  • Changed other fields in the Supervision tab? Restore them; they affect other services.

  • WebAdmin unreachable? Check the fixed IP settings and try another browser.
