How to connect: V.GO

Connect your V.GO charger to Plugchoice. V.GO configures the backend at the factory.

Requirements

  • An internet connection for the charger

  • The charger ID (provided by V.GO)

Good to know: V.GO chargers have no local OCPP setting. The backend is configured by V.GO at the factory.

Connect your charger

  1. Ask V.GO to set the charger's OCPP backend to: ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1

  2. Power on the charger.

  3. Connect it to the internet following V.GO's instructions.

The charger now connects to Plugchoice. This can take a few minutes.

Registering your charger in Plugchoice

Done! The charger should come online.

Troubleshooting

Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?

  • The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the charger ID from V.GO.

  • Confirm with V.GO that the backend is set to Plugchoice's URL.

  • Check the charger's internet connection.
