Requirements
An internet connection for the charger
The charger ID (provided by V.GO)
Good to know: V.GO chargers have no local OCPP setting. The backend is configured by V.GO at the factory.
Connect your charger
Ask V.GO to set the charger's OCPP backend to:
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1Power on the charger.
Connect it to the internet following V.GO's instructions.
The charger now connects to Plugchoice. This can take a few minutes.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For V.GO, this is the charger ID provided by V.GO (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the charger ID from V.GO.
Confirm with V.GO that the backend is set to Plugchoice's URL.
Check the charger's internet connection.
For a complete guide, see our troubleshooting article if your charger can't connect to Plugchoice.
