Connect your charger
On the charger's touch screen:
Tap the four squares icon (bottom left of the main menu).
Go to Settings > Configs and enter the engineer's master password.
Leave Work Mode on Online.
Leave Charger Number as the default (the serial number).
In Server IP, enter proxy.plugchoice.com.
In OCPP Path, enter /v1.
Tap Save.
The charger now connects to Plugchoice. This can take a minute.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Charge-m8, this is the Charger Number, by default the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the Charger Number.
Double-check Server IP and OCPP Path for typos or spaces.
Check the charger has an internet connection.
Saved new settings recently? Restart the charger.
