Requirements
A computer with an Ethernet cable
The charger's serial number (on the type plate)
For managed sites: access to the EV Charging Expert portal
Good to know: Schneider chargers don't support OCPP charging profiles, so smart charging features are limited.
Connect your charger
Option 1: EVlink Smart Wallbox (web interface)
Connect your computer to the charger with the Ethernet cable.
Give your computer a static IP address in the
192.168.0.xrange.In a browser, open
http://192.168.0.102.Log in with username
adminand passwordADMIN.Go to Configuration > Supervision.
Set OCPP version to
1.6.Paste
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1in Supervision URL.Enter the serial number in Charging station ID.
Click Save and reboot.
Reconnect the charger to a network with internet access.
Option 2: EV Charging Expert (managed sites)
Log into the EV Charging Expert portal.
Go to Admin > Configuration > Remote Supervision.
Set Enable to ON.
Paste
ws://proxy.plugchoice.com/v1in Remote Supervision URL Address.Click Save.
Restart the charger.
The charger now connects to Plugchoice. This can take a few minutes.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Schneider, this is the Charging station ID you set, usually the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the Charging station ID.
Check for spaces or a trailing slash in Supervision URL.
The charger needs its own internet connection after configuration.
Rebooted? Wait 5 minutes, then check again.
