Requirements
The Wattpilot set up in the Fronius Solar.wattpilot app
Up-to-date firmware (OCPP needs a recent version)
Internet connection (Wi-Fi)
Connect your charger
In the Solar.wattpilot app:
Open your Wattpilot in the app.
Open the Internet tab.
Tap OCPP.
Turn on OCPP 1.6J.
Set Protocol to WS.
Set Host to proxy.plugchoice.com
Set Path to /v1
Tap Save.
The charger now connects to Plugchoice. This can take a few minutes.
Registering your charger in Plugchoice
Add the charger using the chargepoint ID. For Fronius, this is the serial number (case sensitive).
Done! The charger should come online.
Troubleshooting
Did you set everything up correctly, but the charger still remains "Pre-registered"?
The chargepoint ID in Plugchoice must exactly match the serial number.
Don't see OCPP in the app? Update the Wattpilot firmware.
Check Protocol is WS, not WSS.
Check the host and path for typos, spaces, or a trailing slash.
Restart the charger after saving.
