Automatic updates is a setting per charger in the web portal, on the charger's Firmware page.
Firmware updates through Plugchoice are available for charger models that Plugchoice has a firmware update track for. If your model has none, the Firmware page says so.

How does it work?
To install an available update right away, press Update now and confirm with Start update.
Firmware comes from the charger's manufacturer. Installing it is at the charger owner's own risk.
Plugchoice may install the manufacturer's firmware, unchanged, for example for security or to fix a fault.
How to set up automatic updates
App
The app shows the firmware version under Chargers > Settings > Device information, but has no update setting. Use the web portal.
Web portal
Go to Chargers > [your charger]
Go to Settings > Firmware
Switch Automatic updates on or off.
You need data access to the location.
