First, make sure that:
The charger has internet
You have a phone or computer at hand
Add your charger in Plugchoice
In the Plugchoice app, open Chargers and tap Add charger (+). In the web portal: Chargers > Add charger.
Pick the brand and model of your charger and follow the steps.
The following chargers connect to Plugchoice by default. They should come online right away:

Do you have another charger? Read on.
Connect the charger
For some brands, including the ones below, the Plugchoice app can set up the connection itself. Choose With this app when the app asks how you want to set it up.
Alfen
Ratio
For any other charger, choose By hand: you then look up the websocket URL setting of your charger yourself and change it to:
wss://ocpp.plugchoice.com
We recommend wss. If your charger only supports ws, use ws://ocpp.plugchoice.com. An unencrypted connection is your own choice and risk.
Troubleshooting
Done everything, but the charger is still on "Not connected yet"?
Usually the Chargepoint ID entered is wrong.
